About the role
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist / Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to join our Gastroenterology Surgical Center.
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist / Endoscope Reprocessing Technician to join our Gastroenterology Surgical Center.
Our center specializes in GI procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGDs). The primary responsibility of this position will be the cleaning, reprocessing, inspection, and preparation of the flexible endoscopes used by our physicians during procedures.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Surgical Technology graduate interested in gaining experience in a GI procedural environment.
What You'll Do
- Clean and reprocess flexible endoscopes used during colonoscopies and EGDs.
- Perform leak testing and manual cleaning of endoscopes.
- Operate automated endoscope reprocessing equipment.
- Inspect scopes for proper condition and function.
- Prepare and store scopes following reprocessing.
- Maintain required reprocessing documentation and logs.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
- Maintain clean and organized reprocessing areas.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming procedures.
- Assist with procedure-room turnover and restocking when needed.
- Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other members of the surgical center team.
Requirements
- Surgical Technology certificate or related training
- Spanish proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred
- Previous endoscopy or scope-reprocessing experience
- Experience in an Ambulatory Surgical Center or hospital
- BLS certification
- Endoscope reprocessing or sterile-processing certification
Recent Surgical Technology graduates are encouraged to apply.
Training will be provided on our facility's specific equipment and endoscope-reprocessing procedures.

We are an Ambulatory Surgical Center specializing in Gastroenterology. Our clinical team performs GI procedures including colonoscopies and EGDs, with a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient clinical operations.
Compensation: $26.00 per hour
